Marilyn Pemberton has written Out of the Shadows: The Life and Works of Mary De Morgan and also The Jewel Garden, a fictional novel based on De Morgan’s life, which was published in 2018.
Marilyn’s second novel, The Song of the Nightingale: a tale of two castrati is a historical novel, set in 18th century Italy that tells of two young boys who are bought from their families, castrated and then trained to be singers. It was published in 2019.
